Positive Plate is a plant-forward food site that was started with the idea that every day, we all have the power to make small changes that can positively impact the planet. And I’m not talking little, unimportant impacts. I’m talking about huge, let’s-save-the-world kind of change. Every single plate has that power. How cool is that?
What exactly does "plant-forward" mean? It is a style of cooking that relies heavily on plant-based foods, but is not strictly limited to them.
I’m of the belief that it’s better for everyone to do a little, than for a few people to do it all. So whether you’re a meat-loving omnivore, a dedicated vegan, or somewhere in between (that’s me!) you’re welcome here. No matter your diet or restrictions, I hope you’ll be inspired to try a recipe or two. Because at the end of the day, good food is good food, even (or especially!) if it just so happens to be vegan.
Positive Plate was founded by me, Kelci DeFrancesco, a longterm vegetarian that tends to eat plant-based a lot of the time. I’m trying to do better - for our planet, for future generations, for myself - and I welcome you to try with me. Together, we can do so much.
